Mary Beth Woods is a licensed physical therapist in both New York State and Connecticut. She is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association as well as an advanced Hip Clinician with the Hospital for Special Surgery. In October 2022, Mary Beth underwent intensive training to become certified in the Schroth Method – a conservative and highly individualized treatment for scoliosis and other conditions of the spine. As an adjunct to her role as a physical therapist, Mary Beth holds her certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

With over 20 years of clinical experience in orthopedics and sports medicine, Mary Beth provides highly skilled patient care to a widespread patient population ranging from young athletes to geriatrics. Thorough examination and assessment skills have provided great success for Mary Beth’s patients as they undergo rehabilitation for various injuries and conditions.

In addition to her role as a physical therapist, Mary Beth is also a mom to her 3 amazing kids. She is a dedicated runner and quite passionate about the benefits of regular exercise. In the Woods’ downtime, they enjoy family adventures including trips to the beach and hiking with their dog, Rosie.
